PAYMENT POLICIES

INTRO SESSIONS
The intro lesson fee is initiated by you and processed during booking. This fee pays for: • one (1) intro lesson • the creation of your student page • my guarantee that I will be able and prepared to conduct your intro lesson
REGULAR LESSONS
If we decide at the end of your intro lesson that we'd like to work together, then your first payment for regular lessons will be processed at that time. Subsequent regular lesson fees are initiated by Stripe (my billing system). Payments process automatically on the 21st of each month and cover the month that's about to begin (not the month you're already in). This fee pays for: • one (1) month of lessons • a one (1) month hold on your time slot • continued access to your student page • my guarantee that I will be able and prepared to conduct your regular lessons
REFUNDS & PRORATING
I do not refund or prorate regular lesson fees.
SERVICE GUARANTEE
If I am unable to conduct a prepaid lesson then I will immediately return to you the cost of that lesson.

CONTACT POLICIES

LIVE VIDEO LESSONS
I'll call you on Skype at the stroke of the hour. If you don't answer then I'll wait five (5) minutes for you to call me back. If I haven't heard from you by five (5) minutes after the hour then I'll call you again. If you don't answer my second call it's an automatic no-show.
EMAIL
I check and respond to work-related emails Mondays-Thursdays from 10am to 3pm PST/PDT.
TEXTS
I check and respond to work-related texts Mondays-Thursdays from 10am to 3pm PST/PDT and in between lessons.
EMERGENCIES
If you’re having a genuine emergency, don’t worry about me. • take care of yourself first • contact me when you’re safe; we’ll figure it out from there
LATENESS
Let me know if you're running late. If you're five minutes late without letting me know then I'll call it a no-show.
NO-SHOWS
I don't do make-ups for no-shows.

SCHEDULING POLICIES

LESSON SCHEDULE
Your schedule sits at the top of your student page. You are responsible for keeping track of it and for letting me know in a timely manner if you need to to make any changes to it.
RESCHEDULING LESSONS
I do not reschedule lessons. If you know in advance that you won't be able to make it to a scheduled regular lesson then you may choose to either switch it to upload or skip that lesson.
PAUSING LESSONS
If you need to pause your lessons but want to keep your time slot, you can continue to pay your monthly fee: • you will retain access to your student page • you may still submit upload lessons as per my policies • we'll restart live video lessons when you let me know you're ready
STOPPING LESSONS
If you need to stop taking lessons and you don't want to pay to keep your time slot: • your unused fees will be credited • credits are good for six (6) months and can be used to restart lessons • you will lose your hold on your time slot • you will retain access to your student page for six (6) weeks
